Hi, I am a beginner to the art jewelry world and I am looking for a
source of when I am trying out new technique. I work
exclusively in PMC and my preference is Silver. I have taken one
year of classes from certified teacher that owns a bead shop in
Michigan. Now I am interested in working more on my own now that I
have a kiln and work shop at home.
I am a retired Kitchen Designer with a very long interest in hand
made art jewelry and ceramics. I am looking forward to learning a
lot and who knows I may some day have the confidence to contribute
my knowledge.

The Silver Shop
Grand Junction, Colorado. USA
I’ve been a silversmith since 1972. Cortez Silver & Turquoise Co.
hired me as a trainee. I worked for them for a couple years, then
moved to Durango and opened a shop there. I moved to Grand Junction
in 1976 and had a store on Main Street until 1983. I’ve had a shop at
home since 1984 and also deal in antiques. I collect jewelers
benches, watchmaker benches, dental cabinets, printers cabinets and
any kind of cabinets with lots of drawers. I’ve become a
tool-a-holic. I know all of the local jewelers, antiquers, and
junkers.
