While teaching ESL and beaded jewelry classes in Tokyo.
I attended Japan Jewelry Academy. I wanted to learn more about
stone-setting and metalsmithing. I had also longed to add stones and
metal to my designs.
After moving back to the U. S in 2008,I settled here in beautiful
Wisconsin. My studio is located in a valley on 40 acres of woodland
in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin. Opening my jewelry studio has
been a vision that guides your life, But at times, a wild and crazy
journey.

Hi. I am a contemporary jeweller/object maker who loves working with
a wide range of traditional and non traditional materials, with
somewhat of a messy, abstract aesthetic. I create art jewellery
projects as well as fashion collections. I am also passionate about
the jewellery industry and its makers focusing their processes and
products towards a ethical model, via recycling and supporting
sustainable practices and materials. I use recycled silver and gold
in my work, lab created stones and found objects. I am excited about
the ongoing discussions within the jewellery community and beyond in
regards to this important craft and art form.
