I am a 53 year old grandmother and have recently moved into
metalsmithing after several years of working through beading and
chain maille. I was looking for something more and seem to have
found it in working with metal. I have an assocites in fine arts and
have a strong quilting background. My most recent venture is adding
color to metal with colored pencils. I have only the most basic
skills in metal smithing, but that is fine because I know there is
so much more to learn and this excites me!
