Hi, I’m Carol and I’m excited to be part of this community.

I was a late bloomer going to college for Metalsmithing at the age
of 36. Not haveing a studio at the time nor a voice for my work I
got a position as a bench jeweler for a prominent jeweler in Erie
Pa. and worked there for 5 yrs. I have then since moved and have a
studio of my own. I have been working on my voice for my work and am
now trying to get my work ‘out there’ in order to make a living. I
am now trying to learn just ‘how’ to do that.

My inspiration for my work is largely from nature. But, I am
inspired by many things.

Stephanie Long
Goldcrafter’s Corner
Harrisburg, PA. USA

I have been a working designer/goldsmith with my own storefront
since 1989. I was a jewelry major at SUNY Plattsburgh for 3 years,
but my degree was from Mansfield U., PA., in 1981. None the less, I
consider myself mostly self taught. Dr. Barton at Plattsburgh was
the most wonderful teacher… he taught that you can do anything
with the media if you just figure out how- and there are infinite
possibilities, so there’s no need to do what someone else is doing.
My designs are my own, and continually evolving. My play time is
creating one of a kind pendants which can be worn on either side.

Cheri Litwinovich
Placerville, USA

I work primarily with metal wire and lampwork beads (made by my son
who is a glass bead artist). I’ve also worked with precious metal
clay and a variety of other jewelry making techniques since I love
to experiment and learn new skills.

Steve Jones
Lawrenceburg, IN. USA

I’m a retired computer guy that got interested in making spoon rings
by picking up a box of silverplate silverware. Now I’m wanting to
upgrade to sterling and learn silver soldering. I think it’s an
addiction…

Charles Lee Sowell
Berryton, KS. USA

Retired, complete gemstone novice but very interested in learning
about gems and minerals.
