I am just starting to take my jewellery more seriously, by starting
my own company. I hope to be able to make a career out of jewellery
fabrication. I attended college a few years ago and completed a
diploma in jewellery and metals in Ontario, Canada. I hope to be
able to contribute ideas and techniques I have learned through this
website and also to be inspired by others. I thank everyone in
advance for such great advice and wish you all the best of times in

I have been exploring all areas of jewelry creation many years and
am currently most interested in metalsmithing. I strive to produce
pieces that are well-crafted, intruiging, and always wearable. My
biggest challenge is keeping my cats off of my workbench and my dog
out from underfoot in my small backyard studio.

Hussy Hardware Jewelry works with many jewelry forms; sand casting,
lost wax casting, and fabrication are my main forms. Currently in
the process of creating a jewelry fabrication and casting studio, I
love everything diy!

I have been working mainly in beading and wire work, traditional
wire wrapping with square and half-round wire as well as coiling and
weaving with round wire. Recently I have also begun exploring chain
maille and cold connections.

that incorporate castings as well as unique gemstone, glass and
crystal beadwork are my mainstay.
