I’ve been learning and creating jewelry and small scale sculpture as
a hobbyist for over 20 years. I enjoy one-of-a-kind fabrication
projects, enameling, wax casting, chain making, fusing, and
granulation, using specialty alloys (reticulation, shibuichi), and
unusual materials and techniques. I have some home studio equipment,
such as a fully outfitted jewelry bench, and a hydraulic press. I am
lucky to live near a local adult education studio that is
impressively equipped and staffed with some of the best instructors
anyone could ask for. In addition, I’m extremely fortunate to have
had the benefit of taking workshops through the local studio with
world-reknowned jewelry artists and metalsmiths.
