I have been a self taught artist my whole life, AKA natural born
artist, and I am quite proficient in many different forms of art.
Pottery. painting, sculpture and so on.

I have no formal training or degree’s in art. yet I have been
fortunate enough to land a part time teaching job, (25 hours a week)
that I have been at for the past fifteen years. This position has
given me a lot of freedom in being able to express my self through
my art as well as passing it along to my students,Who range between
the ages of 7 to 18 years old.

In the past ten years Six of my students have won National honors
for their Art Work in competitions based upon their age groups.

It was about two years ago when I discovered the art of wire
wrapping jewelry and I have been hooked ever since.

The possibility’s with wrapping wire are endless and I have made a
few hundred pieces so far. Rings, bracelets, earrings necklaces,
ect.

I have never made any two pieces alike and I guess that’s what has
drawn me most to wire wrapping. There is a great amount of diversity
and creativity involved.

For me Wire wrapping is like therapy, as it takes me away from the
daily grind and allows me to be creative in a small environment. My
desk.

I work with silver, gold, copper, brass and stainless steel. I also
incorporate leather, raw crystal, polished cabochons, faceted gem
stones and the like

Thanks to web sites like this, I learn more about jewelry making
every day!

You can view some of my creations at my web site.

Munich Germany. Studied Design and History of Art more recently
while living in Venezuela and Romania, and am keen (now my kids are
old enough for me to have a little more time) to become a productive
metalsmith/jeweler. I don’t have a significant collection of
finished work yet, but an abundance of ideas and enthusiasm. Anyone
in Prague, Lisbon (upcoming visit) or in the Conneticut area I could
hook up with for reliable local supplier/workshop Would
love to hear from you.
