Hi Leo, I have been faceting for a few years now myself. Its
very satisfying. Have you tried out Gemcad by Robert Strickland?
Its a very good program. You can facet a stone on the computer,
see how well it reacts to light and print out the angles and
indexes before you ever touch the rough. You can design some very
unusual and interesting cuts. Best wishes Ken
