Wedding ring for Poland client

Good morning all,

I’ve got a probable wedding ring commission for a couple in Poland.
At this point the situation appears to be legit.

Currently I am planning for them to pay the entire amount up front
via Paypal.

There will be no stones, just the metal work in the ring and the
agreed upon price includes shipping.

If anyone out there in Orchid land has any suggestions or insights
as far as working long distance to Poland or eastern Europe I would
greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Thanks
Jim

Hello Jim

I am from Slovakia, small country next to Poland.

Payment through Paypal is not problem, even bank transfer, that is
cheaper option than Paypal. Bank transfer will be in US in around 3
days.

I have ordered few times from US and also sent my jewelry to US and
no problem, everything was OK.

You can send it as insured box which cost around 40 dollars.

No worries we are normal people:)

Paypal is not a guarantee. They can fill a chargeback at anytime. I
only take cash. T/T or western union money transfer for
international orders regardless the country.

I’ve purchased lapidary material from Poland several times via
Paypal with no issues. I suspect that, as with everything else in
life, the outcome is as good as the motives of the individuals
involved.

Dana, I agree that PayPal is no guarantee. I had accepted money for
a purchase using PayPal to put the funds in my bank account. The
client had charged the amount to be paid PayPal. When the client
failed to cover the charge, guess how PayPal got their money. they
wanted the deposit back from me. I tried to protest this without
success and PayPal threatened turning the amount over to a collection
agency. So I lost $$$.

Do I EVER use PayPale? NO. When I donate to Orchid, I send a
personal check.
