Wax Machine' by the Delrex Corp

Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone can help me track down a tool
called ‘the Wax Machine’ by the Delrex Corp. I have a tapered wax
mandrel, but after using this handy tool–I really want one for
sizing waxes. I’m guessing they are not made anymore because I’ve
looked everywhere I can think of on-line and in tool catalogs. Anyone
have a stockpile of these laying around? (I only need one!). --Julie

Julie, If you’re talking about the ring sizing reamer that makes
clean, sized, parallel walled ring holes in standard wax tubes,
Adolfo Mattiello of Du-Matt Corp and Matt Wax/Tools fame is putting
one on the market shortly. I, too, have the old “Wax Machine” set and
love the ring sizing tool.

Adolfo was preparing the enclosure literature and packaging so it
may be available soon. Perhaps he’ll bring it to the Rio Grande
Catalog in Motion during the Tucson Gem Show in February.
