I should/may have a spigot on the side that is placed at the bottom
of the tank. Just lightly pressurize the tank and open the spigot
and empty the tank and TURN IT OFF, then clean it with paper towels
(dish washing gloves help with the cleaning as the tank is HOT). If
the valve is not there, remove lid, turn off the unit, dump
contents, wipe interior clean with paper towels (gloves???), refill,
plug in and your on your way.

Norden: I clean my wax injector by pouring all the wax out while hot
and then wiping out the interior with a cloth. I the disassemble the
injector nozzle and soak it in mineral spirits to remove and wax
residue. Reassemble the nozzle and then use a stiff brush and
mineral spirits to clean the inside of the pot. You can let it soak
for a day or so before scrubbing. All of this should be done in a
well ventilated area with the wax pot unplugged and all safety
precautions for the mineral spirits followed. You can also use
labratory solutine but it can be very expensive. I also sometimes
add some wax klean or similiar wax polishing compound to the mineral
spirits as they are designed to desolve wax. Let the cleaned pot dry
for a day or so before you fill it with new wax and turn it on. Frank Goss.

Empty the injection wax out and fill with flushing wax or parafin
wax. Let sit at temp and every hour or so stir the wax with a clean
rod. This will disolve the injection wax into the flushing wax and
when all the injection wax is disolved pour it out.
Also you can use wax solvent and work on the burnt wax with a cloth
and the solvent.
