I set a couple of pieces of Rare Wavellite cabochons (from Arkansas)
to show some examples of what can be done with this rare material.
I had several people tell me that the stones could only be set by a
wire artist. So, I picked up a couple of books and these are my first
silversmith pieces. I figure if I can set them as my first attempts
at silversmithing, then experience silver artists should not have a
problem. A local gallery liked the pieces I set and put them in
their gallery. Now to see if they sell 
I can’t wait until I can afford to buy some more tools to play with.
