I want my art to evoke a mood in people. I begin a piece by being inspired by a pattern I have seen out in the world. No matter what medium I use my art always shows emotion. It can be romantic, serene or adventurous. When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense of peace and serenity and I know a piece is done when I am ready to show it to someone. When people see my work, I would like them to say, “I have to have that!”
