I want to have multiple consignment accounts for my jewelry, but I
wonder how many pieces I need in one shop for good exposure? I know
that when I do a show, I could have 100 rings and it would not be
enough to have the right one in the right size. Maybe rings on
consignment are just to get orders from?
I am just starting to do consignments, having had a bad taste in my
mouth from a first “attempt” a couple of years ago. Are any of you
making a decent income with consignments? I used to begrudge the
high percentages kept by the gallery until I realized I am paying
that much when I do shows.
