Using melee diamonds gypsy setting

My other question concerns melee diamonds gypsy or flush set inside
the shanks of engagement or fashion rings? If these rings are sized
or placed in the ultrasonic for long, these stones fall out and are
finicky to reset. Why does this design exist and how can we get rid
of it?

Sorry to disappoint you but there isn’t any reason to get rid of this
setting style. If the stones are falling out from being in the
ultrasonic it means they weren’t set right to begin with or with time
the metal holding them in has worn away from normal wear and tear. If
you know how to do this type of setting then you know how to fix them
when they fall out from normal wear and tear. They fall out after you
size them because stretching or bending the metal for sizing changes
the shapes of the holes drilled for them and you have to go back in
and tighten them up after doing that (like befor= you throw them in
the ultrasonic and they fall all of the way out). The problems you
are having has nothing to do with the style of setting.

Nothing wrong with the design…just some of the setting being done.
