Hello Jestre,
and for those superficial chips or badly fitting inlay, epoxy
resin mixed with tempra/tempera powder(finger paint) black(onyx)
green(malachite) blue(lapis). The black epoxy can also be used to
brighten up most white and all crystal opal by painting a thin
layer to the backs of them. Obviously this process is only used
on small cheap stones.
