Understanding injection waxes

I’m looking into this, and reading product specs is quite confusing.
If someone could be kind enough to give some details it would be
highly appreciated.

  • They have different flexibility, why is this relevant? What is the
    drawback if more flexible?

  • Why are they sold according to “color”?

  • Different melting temperature, why is this relevant?

  • Why does some of them claim to give more detail? Again, what is
    the possible drawback…

We will mostly do RTV silicone molds and silver casting. Good
details is a good… Some wax models might be tooled a bit to make a
new “master”.
