Ultra Tec faceting spares

Hi all,

I have an older model Ultra Tec faceting machine which still uses
the morse taper/chuck system to hold the stone dop. I understand
that this was upgraded a few years back to incorporate a keyed dop
system.

I wish to upgrade my machine to the newer system. Does anybody know
where the necessary spares might be available?

I have tried to contact the Ultra Tec website but have not received
any reply.

Try talking to Jeanne at www.rockpeddler.com. She’s been an Ultra
Tec dealer for a while and might know how to convert your machine to
the keyed dops.

I have always gotten a reply from the Ultra Tec folks, but if you
have emailed them in the last few days, you must understand that
this is a big holiday weekend for the folks in the states.

You should call Ultra Tec, they are in LA. Gus is the guy you want
to talk to.

You should subscribe to the USFG faceters list. There are many Ultra
tec faceters and dealers on the list and can answer your questions.
