[UK] Jewelry Making Training in Manchester

Hi,

I’m returning to jewellery making ( and the Orchid list ) after a 2
year absence. I moved from Sydney where I was spoilt for choice for
6-8 week long evening classes on various different aspects of
jewellery making, from beginner work to enamelling, box making and
casting. Since moving to Manchester I haven’t been able to find any
equivalent courses. I don’t have the equipement or space to do many
projects at home.

Does anyone know of short length courses in the Manchester -
Altrincham area that they could point me to?

Does anyone know of short length courses in the Manchester -

I recently came across listings on the Goldsmiths’ Hall website for
Jewellery schools and independant schools in the UK. I’m off-line
right now so I can’t check what was listed for Manchester, but the
site should be worth a try for anyone looking for courses in the UK.
Also, don’t rule out your local college, mine does jewellery, stained
glass, ceramics, etc, as well as all the academic stuff.
