I’d use a mechanical connection…
or weld with pulse arc.

The bezel is attached to the ring with a thick countersunk rivet. I also threaded the hole and the rivet so it is tightly screwed in as well. The tricky part was hammering it smooth on the inside of the ring. And just for insurance, I added a bit of Lock-tite!

That’s some out of the box thinking and designing. Love it. I bought some watchmakers taps and dies and love using them for my jewelry design projects. Happy to see your creative thinking. Really awesome stuff.

Pretty much what I said below. I used sterling silver for the bezel and the threaded post that goes into the ring.
