I’ll be in Tucson, teaching a two day hands Wax/Freehand Lathe
Turning Workshop (spaces available http://www.cataloginmotion.com).
In this hands-on workshop learn affordable lathe turning techniques
using a flex shaft. Students will make wax rings, bezels for round
cabochons and faceted stones and more. You will also learn how to
attach a bezel to a ring and how to hollow and finish the waxes.
Level: Beginner-Intermediate. Cost: $395 Tuesday and Wednesday,
February 2 and 3; 9:00am - 5:00pm
I’ll be at Rio’s Catalog in Motion, Friday- Monday, and doing a free
demo Saturday, February 6, 11:30am - 1:00pm, on Carving a ring with
an overlapping leaf pattern.
