I would like any on the locations of PMC and/or Lapidary
classes or demonstrations in Tucson. Thanks so much. Can’t wait to
get there again this year.
One venue you can check out is the Electric Park Learning Center.
The schedule is at ElectricParkLearningCenter.com (all lower case
works)
From The Electric Park Learning Center page: "For the duration of
the Tucson Show, visitors can enjoy daily scheduled programs of
free, public demonstrations and instruction presented in a
dedicated, 20 x 30 foot show-and-tell tent. The demonstrations
cover a broad range of lapidary, jewelry-making, and related
techniques. While the main focus is on showing and explaining
processes and techniques, manufacturers of cabochon and faceting
machines, flex shafts and similar devices also give first-hand
presentations to introduce and explain their products. Three
separate sessions will be given each day of the show period. All
will be free, an hour or less in duration, with lots of time for
question-and-answer afterward."
I don’t remember any PMC classes, but there are many presentations
and demonstrations by top notch people. Check it out and see what
might interest you.

For metal clay classes check out Whole Lotta Whimsy at
http://www.wholelottawhimsy.com/wo/p/context/edu/Classes
Rio’s catalog in motion might also be having some, you could call the
800 number and ask for Education. I know there are others, but don’t
know exactly where. There are two Metal Clay Veneer classes from the
inventor, Jay Humphries at the To Bead True Blue show at the Manning
House.
