[Tucson 2000] Orchid Gathering

Hi Gang, For those of you that would like to get together
during the Tucson for the Gem Show, I’ve been able to
reserve the Mount Claire Room at the Holiday Inn, City
Center.

The reservation is for February 5, at 6:30 PM. We’ll be
able to order from the menu & each person’s order will be
handled on a separate check. The menu prices run from $4.95
to $16.95. Sales tax and a 15% gratuity will be added to
each check.

The GLDA show is held at the Holiday Inn, City Center.

If you’re attending one of other shows, you should be able
to ride one of the show shuttles to the Convention Center.
The Holiday Inn is about a 2 block walk from the Convention
Center shuttle stop. Getting back to your ho/motel after
the gathering will be up to you, I believe the shuttles
stop running about 7:00 PM.

In order to give the Holiday Inn some idea of how many to
expect, please respond to me at @David_D_Arens2
with your name and a count of how many will be attending by
January 31.

Look forward to meeting lots of old friends & being able
to put faces with the names.

Dave

The only problem with that date and time is that it is the same
night and time of the AGTA awards banquet, and gala afterwards…

Hi Dave: I would like to be included in the count. Thank you so
much for doing the organizing. Shael Barger

Dave, I plan to attend and I will have a five passenger vehicle
with me. I know Tucson well and would be happy to take four
folks back to their lodgings. Anyone needing a ride after the
dinner can e-mail me at @John_McLaughlin

Hello Dave, I would like to be included for the dinner on Feb
5th. I will have a car and would be happy to provide
transportation afterward for whoever fits into it.Is there a
contact number for you in Tucson, btw? Perhaps it’s a good idea
to call a day or two before and confirm plans. I will be there
from Jan 30, and will be staying with friends in town (God bless
them!).

I am really looking forward to this! Thanks for arranging
things!
