Trinket kiln question//reply

Alan, In the future, try putting a hard soldering board ( cut to
the proper shape ) in the kiln …and put your pieces on that so
that the inside surface of your kiln does not get damaged if
something should get stuck. As far as repairing the present
damages… i believe that the insides of those ovens are
pressed ceramic fiber and can be repaired. either Guesswein or
Rio Grand may be able to help. If not, there is a company called
“Cotronics” ( i Believe to be in NYC) They sell and manufacture
a wide variety of materials for building and repairing kilns and
for manufacturing electronic components. You can find them in The
Thomas Register. http://www.thomasregister.com i hope this
helps… Happy New Year Dan Grandi racecarjewelry.com
