Torch handle fire

Just a note: we started using Propeline (sp?) some years ago, when we were doing a bit of casting. The Propylene seems to burn a bit cleaner, without carbon contamination in the melt. A “pencil” flame is considered “neutral”. The cost, however, is getting a bit boring. I recently changed from 100 pound tanks to about 50’s. For some reason the larger bottles are now heavier than was once the case. (Yeah, at one time, I could hand carry a hundred up our long staircase…it became longer too…now downstairs with about 40’s). Overall, I’m happy with the propylene,…we’ll see the next time I go for a refill ! I certainly agree with everything on the torch. Any kind of leak can be deadly. Our Little Torch is still chugging along, although we’ve replaced all of the internals a couple of times. We check the hoses frequently, as they “age out”. I was saving a new set. I recently checked it and it crumpled in my hands. I’m probably going to replace the current set soon!
