Tools YAK

Tools? Did someone mention buying tools?

I always need more tools!!

So who’s going to figure this mass purchasing plan out? Volunteers?

Sandi So how do we organize this idea.

Well… since you know what you want, you should check around for prices
and see what kind of deal you can get. When you get an ideal price, but
need to buy 3 or 4 , post for people who might have interest. You’ll have
to work out the details, like exact cost, including any shipping and
packing costs ( remember you will use lots of tape, may need to buy boxes
and bubble wrap). Everybody does business a little different. You might
need to collect the money up front, or you may be able to use seperate
credit cards too. Just depends.

You’d probably want to keep it to one major item at a time… when these
buys get too big they can be a pain. For example, if you’re buying
buffing wheels, saw blades, and rouge you’ll have to keep track of
everybody. So if one or two people want you to add a few items you weren’t
planning on, it can get out of control quick. Ask me how I know.

You also HAVE to have all the money! Don’t tie up your own. Sometimes
the best intentions go awry. The last coop I did was for some fancy and
very expensive essential oil. Since I am now much wiser, I made a minimum
order, and had a deadline for the money to be in. (With a little leeway
figured in). It was a lot of work, but well worth it.

So to wrap it up. First get all the facts together, then when you know
exactly what your goals are you post where ever you think there may be
interested parties.

LIFE IS GOOD!

< The only problem is when you have to pay shipping two times! It helps if
< the buyer lives close to the source so they can pick the stuff up
< themselves.

That was my first thought! Yes, those ordering “tandem” would have to
live near one another to benefit.
