G’day; here’s my little addition. As many of you have heard, I make
most of my own tools where possible. But that is because I retired
fifteen years ago having learned all sorts of useful skills in a lifetime,
enjoy making tools, and because I have all the time in the world (??) in
which to make them, and I have a livable pension. I have been able to make
jewellery mostly for fun for about 26 years as a hobby (or just one of
them) However, were I a REAL jeweller doing it for a crust or two I
wouldn’t make many tools; I’d buy them and save time/money. While making a
tool you don’t earn anything, but there would still be a sort of balancing
act; would the tool you make help you earn more, faster? Decisions,
decisions! Cheers,
