The Gemstone that Isn’t.
Azurite. It’s a beauty folks. Nothing that I’ve ever seen has a blue
with as much richness, beauty and depth to match it. And yet…it’s
not used as a gemstone. It is an ore of copper and is often closely
associated with malachite. Also…if not in pure form…Azurite is
often found altering to malachite. And that, my friends, is all I have
on the technical aspects of the stone. I won’t bore you with harness
and density and such.
But…ahhh, there’s a “but” in all things…even when the but is a
butt. “But”…I digress. There is much to say about the lore of the
stone…its magical properties if you will. Is there anyone out there
I wonder…who does not believe in magic?
Astrology anyone? Azurite is one of the twin talismans for first half
Taureans. Thanks to its content of copper and sulfur and
iron…Azurite establishes its correspondence with both Venus and
Mercury. Personally…this knowledge elevates my sense of ecstasy to
unparalleled heights. My life is now complete. But to go on…
I do believe…though not one hundred percent clear on the
matter…that the possessor of Azurite becomes blessed with the
ability to understand the speech of animals. For those of you who have
been wondering your whole lives how Doctor Doolittle did it…now you
know.
Grab a cotton headband and place a sliver of Azurite on it… and
meditate at twilight while wearing the headband and watching the sun
set…and the benefits of that meditation become increased many times
over…awarding the meditator many inspirational moments. Azurite
assembles suitable ions for that period between night and day when the
Sun’s center is below the horizon and the passive side of nature
prepares to dominate the active. I have no idea what this means folks.
These are the facts and I tell 'em as I find 'em.
I have so much more to share with you all…I am overwhelmed with the
wonders of this unused gemstone. Azurite…for those who do not
know…can open the floodgates of cosmic truth. This reveals to the
wearer the essential purpose of life. For those of you planning a
visit to the Guru on the mountain with the intent of asking that very
question…I am delighted to have saved you costly travel expenses.
I can not go on and on for Tidbits is meant to be short and sweet.
However…I maintain that this stone…this paradigm of harmony and
sympathy and tenderness…is without equal in sheer beauty. I
encourage you all to take a peek and let me know if you agree.
For those of you who are new to this thing called Tidbits…may I
direct you to my home page at www.tyler-adam.com where you will
scroll down the table menu till you get to the box that says
Tidbits…and inside the box where it says Tidbit Graphics…click on
the link that says: Gemstone…where you will see a rendering of our
Azurite.
And there ya have it. That’s it for this week folks. Catch you all next
week. Benjamin Mark
