[Tidbits] Tacaree

Alas. the olderer I get the less time I seem to have available to
myself. Normaly. under these circumstances I would skip this week’s
article and have Bixie stand guard and watch over the magical lands
of Tidbits. But Bixie has taken ill. Either that or she’s pregnant.
She has a beau and all that. She snapped at me the other day when I
asked her if she could stand in this week. I cajoled. I begged. all
to no avail. She spewed flames at me and asked something to the
effect of if I thought she had no other life than to stand in for me
whenever the mood struck me. All this while putting on lipstick and
mascara and looking this way and that. I tell you. I am not ashamed
to say I was more than a little concerned over my dilemna.

But then Bixie looked at me and in a somewhat condescending if not
pitying voice asked me if Tacaree would do. I sighed. Tacaree is a
bit of a warrior type and very distantly related to Bixie. A cousin
thrice removed married to a cousin of an aunt who was sister to a
sibling. don’t ask. Personally. I’ve had dealings with Tacaree and
I’m here to tell you he is not an easy piece of cake.

Still. beggars can’t be and all that. And if there’s a job to be done
that requires a tad more than the average bit a menacing… . then
Tacaree (African for as strong as a warrior) is your man. One look
and you instantly know to keep your distance. Don’t look at him
cross-eyed or you will never have the joy of looking again.

When I first asked him if he would take over he said something about
wanting to take a trek to the middle-east–he had something he wanted
to take care of–but I supplicated to the point of tears and he
finally relented. So. no tidbits this week folks. Tacaree will be
watching over the land for one week only. Then he’s off to take care
of whatever it is he wants to take care of. I know he will be
successful. He has an efficiency about him.

So that’s it my friends. No Tidbits this week. Instead… Tacaree. We
call him TAC for short. He has his initials on his belt buckle.
Introduce yourselves. He actually has a nice side to him if
approached in a correct and civilized manner. Quick warning. do not
attack him in any shape way or manner. He does not take kindly to
insults and the results can be devastating.

Okay. You know the rest. The visit to the image. also known as the
