In response to your post on “Golden Smirk” -
Coincidentally, I have a dear friend, Agnes Franz, who compiled a
funny book of quotes called, guess what? “SMIRK” - I use her quotes
often and can highly recommend it. The quotes come in handy when
writing website newsletters, or in conversing with employees and
I have both editions, but like “SMIRK Vol. II” best.
Here’s some of her quotes:
"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes.
Art is knowing which to keep." -Scott Adams
“Nothing a magician does can’t be done by a 10-year-old-with 15 years
“The best things in life are free but no longer available.”
“Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.”
“Being happy is too important to be left to chance.” -Robert Rodale
“The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard.”
“Hospitality- The virtue which induces us to feed and lodge certain
persons who are not in need of food and lodging.”
“The average person thinks he isn’t.” -Father Lorenzoni
Her book has nothing to do with death or masks, but you may enjoy it
just the same. She delivers belly laughs along with a sly grin.
A smile may not prevent sore feet or wrinkles, but it won’t trip us
with frown lines.
