Last week I saw the truly fabulous exhibit of tiara’s from early 19th
century to late 20th at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
The were all worth examining, but there are two truly incredible ones
by Rene Lalique. There are also some very extraordinary ones by other
people, mostly from France. Including an amazing art deco made in
France in 1912, called
“Triple Sun”. I didn’t know art deco appeared so early. This and
other amazing things are in the “Russian” section of this small
exhibit. Don’t miss it if you are in the area.
