I am in the jewelry business and I can tell you this , alot of
the labs that do grading are very inonsistant. we have been
selling diamonds for years and as far as i’m concern the labs do
more harm than good. I think it confuses the people and gives the
big retailers an advantage to say what ever they want.
if a person can only spend X amount of dollars, big retailers
make these people think anything under a D flawless is trash,
so they spend what they don’t have. honesty is the key here , deal
with who you trust and learn as much as you can about diamonds
before you shop!
