We for years called them flying saucer burs…until we had to order
some.
I’ve always known Hart burs as hart burs, but love the “flying
saucer” description. I’m working from a set that is probably 20-30
years old, and had to add more small burs for the never-ending flush
settings. I love to see my students’ confused expressions when I
say, Hart burs!
