The 6 ton press and pancake dies

Will the 6 ton press be able to cut the 6 inch cuff pancake cuff

I think that could be asking a bit much, perhaps if the die is sandwiched between 2 steel plates.

HI,
You should always sandwich a pancake die between steel plates big enough to cover the whole cutting area anyway. 6 tons may or may not be enough for a cuff.
I wouldn’t bother with less than 10 tons if I was planning on things that big.
