Perhaps someone trained in the Thai metalworking traditions may know
this recipe and would be willing to share the knowledge and
source(s) of supply.
Reportedly, ‘sealing wax’ is substituted for pitch/rosin and ‘olive
oil’ is the thinner or emulsifier added to the heated sealing wax.
I do not know any further details for preparation or the proportions
required for a particular quantity or the water testing method for
determining the desired or proper elasticity.
