Teminations for satin cords

Hello Orchid!

I would like to try and use satin cord and small twisted cord for
some of my pendants. I have never used any thing else other than
chain and cable to this point. What is the best to add the clasp? I
am open to any suggestions for the closure. The satin and twisted
cord have to be finished otherwise they start to fray and unravel.

my jeweler friend from guyana showed me how to make little barrels
from silver sheet, solder seam, punch small silver discs, solder
them on one end, then a jump ring soldered to the disc, grind/file
and finish, epoxy or cyanoacrylate cord inside
