Take pictures of jewelry

I have the Nikon Cool Pic camera which takes good pictures. However,
I have found that my HP 3-in 1 flat bed scanner makes terrific pics
of jewelry. Position the item and cover the machine with a piece of
heavy black cloth to reduce light and scan away.

Dear Nancy: I too scan my dichroic jewelry onto my scanner & get
awesome images vs a digital. I then put them into a file ready for
use. I’m also told these can be made into slides for shows but I
haven’t done this yet, have you?
