You might try contacting Glendo, GRS.

They can be very helpful, even on their older equipment

No tool guy it is a copy. GRS does not make a gravermate. Counterfeit Education - GRS

GRS was making GraveMate long time ago. Now they have different models.
Today you can buy Gravermate copy made in china. They are low quality but there are a lot o people who use them with some success. For example Shaun

Even if this machine is a copy, I would download and print the GraverMate manual that I linked to above.
The manual is free, online, and it might help in adjusting, using and servicing even a fairly close copy, or at least giving you some helpful hints on where to begin.
