My experience is that the Superfit is an outstanding
technological design for people with enlarged, aged or arthritic
knuckles. The mechanism is totally hidden, comes in a range of
sizes, shapes, colors, karats, is very sturdy and functional.
However it can easily be damaged by someone lifting the tongue
when the clasp first opens, thinking that is how to open it
fully. Once damaged or worn, that part or any of the other small
precision parts are very tough to correct. I would contact
Superfit for advice. Alan
