Suggestions for gold clasp

I am finishing off a necklace which is strung on .014 softflex wire.
I will have to crimp the ends but I dislike the sight of these
crimps. Cannot hide them in the pearls because they are too small.
Any suggestions on the type of 14Kt or 18Kt yellow gold clasp I
might purchase and where I can secure same.

Thanks.

SoftFlex or Beadalon makes a special crimping tool called Magic
Crimp http://tinyurl.com/lfll4o

It turns an ordinary tube crimp of just the right size into aperfect
little sphere. Not sure if they come in gold, but they do come in
gold filled. They are very attractive-- just look like a normal
little bead…

You could finish it with pigtails on each end so you’d have a loop
and the coiled wire. You could also use the cone shape ends to cover
any knots and use any claps you’d like.

There is also a crimp cover bead, it looks like a pac man. They come
in different sizes and ‘metals’ (ie gold, gold-filled, etc). Look in
your local bead shop or on line at Fire Mountain.

Thank you, Mark. I don’t follow you. Can you send me an attachment
illustrating this ending?
