Stone setting in Wax Video?

Hey friends, perhaps someone can help…

In the last few years my employer saw part of a video on setting
stones in wax at a trade show exhibitor’s booth. He figured that he
already knew how to do it just fine. We get by, but I figure I
always have more to learn. Have any of you any knowledge of this
video and its source?

We are doing waxsetting as our regular process. Like daily 500

tape.If any technical help is reqd we can help you. 3M

Dear Alan, The only video I know of is a in house production for a
manufacturer my college Michelle Reger made a few years ago. It was
used for training purposes only. She is considering producing a new
one. We may have it available this summer. She currently teaches it
as a part of her casting class here at MCTC. She successfully casts
diamond, corundum, cz and other stones in place in alloy, silver and
gold. I’ll have to keep everyone posted regarding it’s status and
availability.
