Greetings all,
I am doing my Honours year at the Australian National University,
Canberra School of Art researching new sterling silver alloys
currently on the market. I would like to ask those of you working in
silver for a boon: could you take a moment to answer the questions
below:
- Do you use a new Sterling alloy or the traditional silver/copper?
1b) which of the new sterlings are you using?
1c) What is the manufacturing style (as in casting, raising,
fabricating)?
- If you work in sterling silver and use the traditional
silver/copper alloy, Have you tried any of the new alloys?
2b) Why do you not use a new alloy?
Answers will not be published except as a summary.
Thank you
Eileen
