FWIW
If you look at some of the ads in Lapidary Journal or JCK you’ll
usually find several that advertise ‘name’ stamps. One is called
Micro Stamp, the ad shows some words stamped in a US penny.
There’s also another ad that features a tool that will stamp a
quality make on an earring ear post. How’s that for small!
In the US the Federal Trade Commission are the folks to be wary
of. They say if you put a quality mark on an item, you must put a
maker’s mark on it also. Haven’t investigated to see if that mark
has to be recorded with them, probably does though.
