Speaking of solder, I was told that one can use stainless steel

Stainless steel solder? Last I heard was that it was possible to
silver solder stainless steel. That I’ve done. Have to make sure
to coat the steel with plenty of flux and use a reducing flame.
Forms a fair bond.
