Sources of fine silver; metric sizes

I use a lot of wire in fine silver. Can you suggest mail-order
businesses just outside of California, or retail stores in Orange
County? I’ve ordered from Rio Grande, of course, but I also like to
support smaller businesses.

Does anybody stock fine silver wire in metric sizes? Hagstoz et al
can make wire in any size, but that’s a special order. I’m looking
for a business that keeps it in stock, so there are no special
charges.

If you’d like, you can make your own.

All it takes is a drawplate & a piece of wire, any size metric or
AWG that’s a little (or a lot) larger than the size you want. Draw it
through the drawplate until you reach the size you need. Drawplates
aren’t that expensive & aren’t hard to use. If I were buying one,
I’d get one with carbide inserts; they work better.
