Help…Does anyone know of a supplier or manufacturer of 14KW gold
beads? I have a customer who wants a special necklace using 5X3mm
melon type beads only in white gold, (no sterling silver). I have
researched every supplier on the internet as well as the Jewelers
Resource only to be told they are only available in 14KY gold in that
size. If anyone can help me locate a source I will be very greatful.

I asked a similar question a year or so ago, but didn’t get a
response. I think because, other than plain round, white gold beads
are tough to come by. Rio has a pretty decent selection (p. 179)
but no melon beads. Stuller has 4 and 5 mm roundels. Maybe your
customer would accept one of
these options, and spare you from driving yourself crazy? (Or maybe
you’re like me and it’s already too late…)
