[Source] Tubing

I am looking for a supplier for silver/copper/bronze
tubing…square, round, or triangular. I don’t seem them in the
catalogs that I have. Does anyone know where I can find these? I
need pretty large sizes as well.

Thanks. Joy

i dont know about the US but in England CooksonGold is the best for
tubing. they do a large range of round tube in silver and gold. as
for square tube, i’ve only every found 3mm and 6mm tube. as for
trianular, i dont think any dealer could help you. round copper tube
shouldnt be a problem but bronze will. it seems even in this day and
age you have to make things yourse lf…

Try Hauser & Miller in St. Louis. They have sterling silver tubing.
You can call them at 800 462 7447.

Make em. Boat winch draw bench is not too difficult nor expensive.
Draw plates hand hacked ~4mm steel, no hardening really required,
polishing even optional. I have both varieties, the finely finished
hardened one just took 3X as long to make… same quality results.

Try Metalliferrous - they have a lot of sterling tubing and a pretty
extensive catalog of base metal items and supplies.

They have an online catalog.

Joy,

You can find copper tubing at Home Depot or any plumbing supply
resource.

K & S Engineering has a good selection of brass & copper tubing in
round, square and rectangular shapes and sheet. Their site has a
list of retail locations:

A quick search also brought up HobbyLinc.com that has a great
selection of their tubing at a reasonable price. Search Building
Supplies/Metals.
