[Source] Soft brass brush

I have a very soft brass brush that I love and would like to purchase
another one just like it. The problem is I don’t remember where I
purchased it. The brush does not have a wooden handle, one of the
things I like the most about it. The handle is made of a white
material that looks very much like Delrin, I don’t know exactly what
it is made of, but it is some sort of plastic or urethane material.
(It won’t crack and dry out like a wooden handle) It is not a hard
material like the plastic you would find on a scrub brush. The brass
is wonderful, very soft. It is the same size as the brass brushes
sold in the Rio catalog. If anyone can think of a place that sells a
brush meeting that description, I would love to hear from you.

Rio probably sells them somewhere else in the catalog, I’d think.
Allcraft certainly does and I expect Otto Frei and others would too,
etc. The key is to look/ask for Platers brushes (as in
“electroplating”). Available with plastic or wood handles, as well
as in other metals. I’ve seen them in steel and in nickle silver as
well as brass. They’re not a cleaning brush, but one for
finishing/burnishing a plated surface.

Linda,

My first stop for something like that would be the industrial
suppliers McMaster-Carr or Grainger’s. Both have tons of stuff on the
’net.
