Does anyone have a suggested source for sandstone? My stone sculpture
instructor has lost her sight due to macular degeneration and can now
see only about 12-15". She can still carve stone in bas relief. If
you have or can suggest a source of pieces 1-2"thick by 12" x12" or
we can cut the rough for her. Please contact me via email…Don
Hi Don, Where are you located? Very nice sandstone under the name of
"flagstone" can be acquired from most landscaping outfits, stone
yards, and some nurseries. Should cost only .50 cents to 1.00 a pound.
Call a local school or museum and they should provide more
