[Source] Rubber or neoprene cord in colors

Hi,

I just found this wonderful forum and resource today and had to join.

I’m going nuts trying to find a 4mm rubber cord in a pale yellow and
a red brown color. Rio Grande doesn’t have any other colors and
short of ordering 150ft from Taiwan in colors that aren;t quite
right I’m at a loss…

Anyone have any suplier ideas??? This is a personal project/gift for
a wedding anniversary so I don’t need a ton of material.

yellow and a red brown”. http://www.firemountaingems.com/ has 4 mm
rubber cord in brown and in beige.

http://www.polymerclayexpress.com/cord.html has 4 mm rubber cord in
rust. Perhaps one of those will meet your need for “red brown”.

Try http://www.artgemsinc.com for neoprene cords. I’m not if they
have the colors you’re looking for, but I was just there today and I
noticed they had a lot of neoprene cords!

silicone cord “in FDA White, Translucent, Gray, Blue, Black, Red,
Green, yellow and other colors” with “Most Standard sizes available
from Stock” and “Round Cross Sections from 1/32” Diameter to 2.00"
Diameter." www.simolex.com/html/cord_04.html shows yellow cord but it
may not meet the need for pale yellow.

Simolex is a manufacturer that makes custom products. They take
credit cards. They say they are “flexible like rubber”.
